The project has been created to establish a centralized database with the information on Conservation Agriculture technologies including no-till, biological methods and innovative production and management solutions to spread the knowledge to a wide range of users.
About project


Agricultural lands in the RF subject to erosion (66 million hectares)
Uncontrolled traffic of planting equipment results in the soil compaction.
Agriculture accounts for 30% of overall greenhouse gas emissions with the intensive tillage resulting in losing soil carbon and destroying the soil ecosystem.
Erosion is destroying more than half of the soils in Russia with its surface increasing by 400-500 hectares annually.
An overall decrease of soil nutrients and destruction of fertile soil layers result in annual yield losses.
